Quick Travel Tip

by Shelly Kneupper Tucker on April 18, 2007

Trying to travel from New York to London? Google Maps can get you there. Go to Google.com because Yahoo can’t help you (Yahoo is always so unreliable). Click on “maps.” Then, click “get directions. Two boxes (for beginning location and ending location) will appear. Type “New York” in the first and “London” in the second. Then scroll down to #23.

I thought you would need to know.

I prefer Ireland, myself – but still, I’m going to need a new suit to get there. And an extra pair of arms.

Haven’t looked to see what directions Google gives to Ireland. Are they the same??~skt

Speaking of trips, back from my trip — I think I will need some kind of therapy and recovery after that car trip. Actually, wasn’t so bad. I will be pleased if I never see a map for a long, long time.

I’ve been meaning to e-mail and ask how that went. CONGRATULATIONS on winning Scribbit’s Write-Away Contest. A very well-deserved win, I might add. Thanks for dropping in to see me.~skt

I wonder how many years ago I should have started training for that swim? At least there is a variety of swim techniques so we don’t get too bored: breast stroke, back stroke, the other back stroke that is like a reverse breast stroke (or a dog pawing the air in a dream), the crawl, side stroke on left, side stroke on right, doggie paddle, letting the current carry us. . . I’m exhausted and I haven’t started. Forget trying the butterfly, too.

LOL! Dog paddle is about as energetic as I get!~skt
