Hi, Shelly! I just went and voted for you. :) And I like your idea about taking a day off blogging and linking to older posts in archives. I wrote some really good posts in my "flatline" days, too! LOL!

Alas, it's too late for me to take a day off blogging today, but that sounds like a great idea for tomorrow. And LOL @ laboring without benefit of an epidural over the longer posts -- that's how I feel sometimes, too, and I've never even had a kid! ;)

Thanks for your vote Thomma Lyn! I think we need to probably try to take a day off every week. Easier said than done. I'm trying hard to keep my posts fresh, as you do, and it's hard when all you do is stare at this screen with zombie eyes. If you've never experienced labor, it's hard to describe it. Thankfully, our memories erase the pain somewhat, or the species would not perpetuate!~skt

Thanks for admitting that in the beginning no one but you reads it. It made me feel better since I'm new to all of this (and not very good). I'm looking forward to reading your archives. Have a great weekend!

You are too "very good" or I wouldn't have mentioned you in my later posts!~skt

Just seen some of your story telling videos. You're really good at it.
I'd expected to watch a few moments and then turn it off but my god I've been watching through all them. Captivating performances.

Thanks, Simon. I appreciate the kudos. I appreciate that you took time to watch them, too ~skt

We have to catch up. I love your new site -- and I especially love that there is a little heart that pops up in the address window whenever I visit your page. The flower is a peony. I love them, they smell like roses, and before they open, they always have little ants crawling all over them. They are fun to peel, by the way, before they open. Next, I love the contest idea. I'm glad I have until May 3rd, because I'm still unpacking and dinner guests are coming tonight.

I hope your evening went well! That little heart is a favicon that Leanne designed for me. I was trying to make one, and I'm so glad she did that instead. Thank you for telling me the name of the flower! The whole bush has burst into bloom now, but I don't see any little ants. I would never peel them before they open, so I'll never know how fun that is! I look forward to visiting with you soon~skt
