My Cat Toy Design—Don’t Delay, Call Today!

With five “fe-lions” I spend a lot of time on the “pet aisle” of my local grocery store. I’m always looking for toys to humor my pets, and I know you other cat lovers are, too. I found this cat toy at the Kroger grocery store yesterday, for approximately $11.00 With some on-line research, I discovered you could go to Nextag and buy it for $12.99 (but I didn’t bother to find out if you have to pay shipping).

Hey, I didn’t know we could sell those - I’ve got the plastic recycled kind in spades. Hours of pure enjoyment and tasty too! Maybe we could do a trade - lol!

Cute too cute!

Have you seen the crinkle bags? I’ve seen them at Walmart here, they are cloth covered but they crinkle like bags do. I still figured that Ginger could be just as happy with my invention above…and yep she is!!! grin

Hey, Tea! Don’t let the cat out of the bag! I wanted to sell MY invention! Think anybody will be silly enough to call that number? Think I should call ‘em and give ‘em a heads up?~skt

Man, what would you pack it in though?

I hadn’t thought that part through! If I send it in a box, they get a free cat toy! What will I do?~skt

Cats, so regal and above it all and then silly the next moment. Our cats have play mice all round the the house, but have taken to playing with Nerf darts. They go up to my son’s room and take them out, there are about 2 lying around in each room of the house right now. My first cat was a “box” cat, she loved playing in boxes.

Can I order two of your cat bags please??
Have a great day!

Sorry, Jen, you have to call the toll free number….oh, I hope nobody really calls that number! Nerf darts is a good game for cats. Ours like those caps over the screws that hold the toilet down. Don’t ask me why….~skt

I love this!! We had a few cats when I was growing up — and I distinctly remember the tail — being his favorite form of amusement. Really, though for my kids, it’s the box instead of the toy thing. Stumbled this.

Thanks, kid. Yes, the tail. For cats and dogs both they have a built in toy, don’t they? Great post about belly dancing as a Mother’s Day gift, by the way~skt

Oh, and I really like how you have your comments set up so you can respond to them and the readers can easily see your responses!

I can arrange for them to be in different colors…I have magic markers~skt

ROFLMAO!!!! mrgreen Shelly, you crack me up. And *giggling* at “which is usually for some reason Tennessee.”

My cats love paper bags, and they love boxes, too. They love coffee stirrers, lids off bottles of green tea, plastic rings off milk lids, and toilet paper cores. Our kittyboy loves to go around the house and pull up drain stops.

One of the best store-bought cat toys we ever got was a mouse attached to a stretchy-string which in turn attaches to a plastic thing that hooks on a door frame. Oh my goodness, all four of our kitties go crazy over that thing, and though they all have played with it fit to bust, the mouse has held up through it all — all it’s missing it its tail. )

LOL! that cat toy your cats love is a bit of elastic (free sometimes on gift wrap) with ANYTHING tied to end and tacked to the door frame. You spoil your babies. Drain stops? We don’t have them, thankfully. They’d be after those, too.~skt

Love it, love it! You can tell a long-time catlover from a newbie by store-bought toys like this. A cat will play with what a cat wants to play with. A cat can’t be bothered by what a store-bought toy cost or how much time went into selecting it. When it comes to recreation (or eating or napping or affection), every cat listens only to himself.

Well, cats certainly don’t listen to humans, Gal, that’s for sure! Selectively deaf…that’s what they are.~skt
