A cat can't be bothered by what a store-bought toy cost or how much time went into selecting it. And *giggling* at "which is usually for some reason Tennessee." My cats love paper bags, and they love boxes, too. They love coffee stirrers, lids off bottles of green tea, plastic rings off milk lids, and toilet paper cores. Our kittyboy loves to go around the house and pull up drain stops. One of the best store-bought cat toys we ever got was a mouse attached to a stretchy-string which in turn attaches to a plastic thing that hooks on a door frame. Oh my goodness, all four of our kitties go crazy over that thing, and though they all have played with it fit to bust, the mouse has held up through it all -- all it's missing it its tail. :) <em><strong>LOL! that cat toy your cats love is a bit of elastic (free sometimes on gift wrap) with ANYTHING tied to end and tacked to the door frame. They go up to my son's room and take them out, there are about 2 lying around in each room of the house right now. My first cat was a "box" cat, she loved playing in boxes.
