I believe I might’ve told y’all that a contest was going on.
This Eclectic Life’s This Blog Blows My Dress Up Contest has officially been judged. I am so grateful that someone else had to make the decisions! Every post that came in gave me a laugh that I sorely needed. There were many wonderful submissions from 28 different blogs, and I would never have been able to choose. During the process of this contest, I’ve discovered blogs that were “new” to me that I enjoy immensely. I hope some of you have found new sites to visit as well.
When I printed off the entries and handed them to the judge, her eyes got as big around as breakfast sausages. I don’t think she quite understood what I had asked her to do until that moment. She asked, “Can I pick more than three?” Unfortunately, the answer was, “no.” She had a devil of a time choosing, and I appreciate her hard work.
I want to thank again all those who entered; all of you are winners, in my book (well, I don’t have a book, but if I ever do—you know what I mean). I hope everyone will take the time to visit the sites of all the contestants and read what they have to say.
The winner of the contest gets a choice of a $20 gift certificate to Starbucks OR to that big corporate place you can buy books. Second Place gets a $10 gift certificate. Third place gets a $5.00 certificate(which might buy a cup of coffee or half a book). if they choose to do so, the winners may post buttons on their website linking back to the page showing all entries.
