 Have you been watching me eat?~skt

Barbara H. May 16, 2007 at 6:42 am

Must’ve been awfully hungry!!

 Always, Barbara! ~skt

Patois May 16, 2007 at 7:02 am

Corn Flakes? Frosted Flakes? Something sugary that turned the milk very sweet? Regardless, love your let-it-all-hang-out ‘tude!

Surely sugary and sweet. I still have the “‘tude” but I don’t dress like that. You can thank me for that. ~skt

Linda May 16, 2007 at 7:16 am

It was common for little girls to go topless in the 50′s. Cute picture

Thank you, Linda. It was certainly common for this little girl! I had a hard time choosing which picture  It was Texas and we had no air conditioners. What can I tell you?~skt

Mz. Jackson May 16, 2007 at 7:32 am

I love that old stove and formica table! Have a great day.

Thanks! You do, too. I wish I had that table, myself. I’ve looked for one like it, but haven’t found one. It was bright red! If you see one for sale, holler~skt

Lisa Milton May 16, 2007 at 8:39 am

Shameful!

Just kidding. Great picture.

Alison May 16, 2007 at 8:40 am

The dregs of the cereal – the best part!

Indescribable Life May 16, 2007 at 9:09 am

Wouldn’t it be great if we felt that confident to go topless now??

Amber May 16, 2007 at 9:16 am

Funny! One of these days my daughter will figure out how to do that and it’ll be all over. :-)

Angie May 16, 2007 at 9:24 am

That’s the best way to down cereal:)

Aldon Hynes May 16, 2007 at 11:36 am

My little one did some topless cooking for her mommy on Mother’s day. (If you follow the links to my flickr account, you can find it there.

Sherry May 16, 2007 at 11:50 am

Ah, yes, those were the days. But they must’ve extended into the ’60s, since I was born in ’60 & there’s a few pics of me topless. We were certainly more innocent and carefree then, not at all concerned about pervs.

Shaz@UsDanes May 16, 2007 at 12:36 pm

Cute pic. Did you eat every bowl on that table clean? . . .lol

Chris @ Real Horses May 16, 2007 at 12:42 pm

I was afraid to come look but my curiosity got the best of me and here I am. I wish my kitchen looked as clean as yours.

Misslionheart May 16, 2007 at 12:46 pm

I only *wish* I had some pics of myself to show at that age! Oh, I do have one of me in my sisters knickers and she’s a good few years older than me. (Must dig that out for next week!)

Karen May 16, 2007 at 12:55 pm

Ah, those were the days!! What a fun photo.

Thanks for your compliment on my WW! Have a great day!

Denise Patrick May 16, 2007 at 12:56 pm

Fun times! We didn’t know how good we had it back then.

Happy WW!

jams o donnell May 16, 2007 at 1:20 pm

Fun times indeed.. I sometimes annoy the missus by doing that sort of thing still! Great pic!

Starrlight May 16, 2007 at 1:21 pm

What a classic kid picture. Well…I had an ex who did that at 30+ so I guess I shouldn’t label it:P

Jessica The Rock Chick May 16, 2007 at 1:23 pm

Topless? I knew you had a bit of wild woman in you :)

I love the pictures of kids from when I was little. My mom has a picture of me at about 15 months old or so completely butt nekked modeling my grandmothers fox fur stole. (a big fashion accessory of the 60′s apparantly). It’s not a digital pic, of course, and people actually developed them back in that world where you actually capture those moments. Now I think if I tried to have a similar picture of my kids developed I’d have the FBI ringing my doorbell or something. People are WAY too hung up nowadays.

Would you believe that we are not even allowed to take pictures of our own kids while they are swimming at the public pool in the neighborhood? Insane! Hmmmmm……sounds like a future blog entry :)

Frigga May 16, 2007 at 3:03 pm

I remember being young and carefree, scarfing down my food so I could go out and play! Thanks for sharing!

wrchili May 16, 2007 at 3:18 pm

Cute photo! Happy WW!

Marcia May 16, 2007 at 4:14 pm

Looks like you didn’t spill a drop! But you hid your face. Love the 50′s kitchen, too. . . but I sure aged seeing that stove, it looks ancient. . . are we really that old?

dawnae May 16, 2007 at 4:49 pm

Very clever….looks like my daughter today, she thinks she lives in a nudist colony! :)

Angela at mommy bytes May 16, 2007 at 5:14 pm

Cool find! Thanks for visiting me.

Jenny-up the hill May 16, 2007 at 5:50 pm

Love this! What kind of cereal were you eating??

Damien May 16, 2007 at 6:40 pm

Nice retro pic. I love the look of those 50′s stoves.

Michelle May 16, 2007 at 7:23 pm

So that’s you behind those coco puffs?

Very cute.

SheSchenker May 16, 2007 at 7:52 pm

What?! Your milk was in a paper carton! We still got our milk in glass bottles well into the 60s perhaps even the early 70s where I live.
Happy WW!

Crazy Working Mom May 16, 2007 at 10:18 pm
