I’ve been busily trying to clean up my sidebar in preparation for a few changes. Leanne is going to put three columns in the footer so I can remove some of the junk on the sidebar. This while I’ve been fighting off a nasty head cold and writing some information about storytelling for you, whether you want it or not.
Just so you know, my blogrolls are still there! I’ve hidden them. You may notice under my Link Love button (which takes you to the links to folks who regularly visit with me) another button that says “my blogroll.” Click it. You might be listed on there; and if you aren’t, then comment so I can go to your site. We can play the game of trading links.
Though I’ve barely been able to sit up, I did a little bit of websurfing and found a few items of interest to me, and I hope to you:
Sophiagurl at Life is just around the corner has a wonderful post with a story! It’s called stop the world! i want to get off! Her site is definitely worth a visit.
Donna at Just Me has a blog that is great fun to visit! I found her in a Thursday Thirteen excursion, and looked in her archives to find this Tongue Twister For YOU.
SusieJ posted about a blog called Milkmoney or Not, Here I Come. The author, Schmutzie, is a strong and humorous woman who was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She had published an image of a rooster on her site, and her readers began sending her images of roosters to symbolize strength. As she says, “the mighty, mighty Cockroll was born.” Send her a picture of a rooster, your url, and words of support. Just click the image and do it. Then, it wouldn’t hurt any of us to donate to a cancer charity. I can give up a week of coffee to donate for the cure. How about you?
Finally, Teamouse at TeaTime Ramblings is having another writing contest. It’s calledAre you a True Romantic? Teamouse asks:
…what was the most romantic thing anyone ever did for you? Or, are you the romantic? If you have a true romantic side and you have a story to share or a poem I’d love to read it. Don’t be shy, I know you all have a good story to share with us…write a romantic post, whether it’s something that someone else did for you or if you were the one being the romantic! …I’ll accept entries up until June 1, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. and announce the True Romantic winner by 4:00 p.m. the same day.
Teamouse has a button for your site if you win. Sounds like a good opportunity to flex your writing muscles.
Y’all have a happy weekend.
