Are y’all getting tired of me sending you to links? Actually, it would be much easier to write a real post! But, there are things I just feel you should know, and I can’t keep my mouth shut. Sorry.
For you writers: Scribbit’s June Write Away contest is going on now. Sharpen your pencils and write (or trim your fingernails and type) about “traditions.” The topic is broad, so go give the site a visit to find out the rules. She’s giving away a wooden moose that, ahem, “poops” M & Ms. You gotta love it!
Scribbit also has a Summer Crafts Giveaway, and all you have to do is enter. She is giving away unpainted Russian nesting dolls, and painting those should keep you off the streets all summer!
If you visit, tell her, “Shelly sent me.”
Island Life has The Great Gift Exchange going on, too. She will pair you up with another blogger who enters, and you can exchange gifts ($10 value) in the mail. How nice to get something besides bills AND get a chance to share with a new blogging buddy! I’m in, how about you?
What are you going to tell her if you enter? Everybody say it with me “Shelly sent me.”
Teamouse over at Tea Time Ramblings has just finished having a writing contest called “True Romantic.” The winner was Boho Rhapp, who had a most wonderful entry simply titled, “A Love Story.” It was so good that I didn’t even mind that it beat out my entry, which was Texas Chainsaw Romance. OK, I’m not a romantic! Go visit Boho Rhapp and congratulate her. You know what to tell her.
If you have a contest or something going on at your blog, tell me and I’ll be happy to post it here.
And, later this evening I plan to post about a contest of my own that’s about to begin again. So come back to visit.

Nope! I never get tired of your links. They’re always good!!!
I have come up with my own Jessica-styled version of “Link Love”. It still needs a better plan, a banner and maybe some blinky things, but episode #1 has been posted. I think you will like it
Jessica
Thank you, Jessica. I appreciate you mentioning ME! You are too kind. Don’t do too many blinky things! Your site is too lovely to mess it up with that.~skt
I’m so glad you’re doing this again — I loved reading the entries.
I did, too. I just hope people enter!~skt
I hope you didn’t take my comment earlier seriously about your posting too many links. . .(I hang my head remembering body language and jokes don’t always convey online) I/We LOVE your links and you regular posts and your comments to our comments and. . . Eric. . .heehee.
In fact Leon just “lectured” me today about not going off on tangents (meaning links) and finishing one thing at a time. I “fought” back by saying I would just come up with a better system of saving all the links I followed so I can easily find them again and save time that way.
I never take you very seriously in your comments. I take you seriously in your poetry! Eric secretly liked writing, but he got so nervous about it. He over-edits himself. When you find a better system of saving all the links, let me know. I post them on an essay, so that I can find them again, myself!

Thank you for posting about the gift exchange. The more the merrier!
It sounds like fun, Kailani. I love the new look that Leanne designed for you.~skt
Thanks for the link to Scribbit.
You are so welcome! I hope you win something
