I would say it’s because I’m a guy that I dislike the term “link love,” but I know a few guys who do those posts all the time. I like the promotion of cool blogs I know of and it serves to drive some traffic my way too. Anyway, you inspired me to do one today (and you’re in it ) but I call mine a “Blog Safari.” I dunno, just sounds better for some reason. Hope you are well!

I’ve been neglecting you and all of my friends. I am heartily sorry…well, not really “sorry” but regretful. I’m crocheting like crazy and out begging in the community, so I don’t get to do everything I want. I’ll be back. And, I appreciate getting to go on “safari.”~skt

Well, it’s a good think you are sticking with your blog. As you can tell by all those comments, you would definitely be missed. You’re doing good work here on your blog, something that will surely be lacking if you decide to stop. All I can say is, stick with what you’re doing because you’re doing it really well.

Could you not have a special address for people who can’t crochet or have the time…where they can donate money or yarn for the eager beavers out there who are willing to do the work?

Well, Matty, since I’m not a 501C3, I don’t want to take anyone’s money! The government would be on my back like a duck on a June bug! Best I can say is that if you want to send me some yarn, I’ll throw it in the pot (since this is Texas, I’ll “thow” it). I’m particularly liking Red Heart’s TLC Amore (black). I think you can find it at Wal Mart, even. It has a little texture, and it makes a good soft background. Problem is, don’t overload me! I have a guest room to put all these in, but I don’t want to have a lifetime supply ~skt

I wasn’t worried in the least – lol! I knew you were up to your eyeballs in crochet from the amount you’ve made is staggering.

Today I’m off to donate blood hopefully – making these squares reminded me that I am seriously deliquent in doing that and it’s a great thing to do.

Then it’s off to buy some more colorful yarn. I’ve been using up some scraps from my ripple and I love the brights and I think the kids will too.

I’ll probably even post later on today.

Don’t get any blood on the squares! Just kidding. It would make them colorful. You are a good person to go donate blood. I’m scared of the needles. The kids will like the bright colors. I’m pleased with what I’m seeing so far!~skt

Aw, Honey, my insanity is not temporary. But, I thought no one would talk to me, so I was discouraged. We could call it PMS< but I'm afraid it's menopause. I don't want to tell you youngun's what that's like. It will scare you away from it!~skt
