The building you are looking at was constructed in 1964 because they wanted to have a dining room and be able to stay open in the cold months as well. To me it's a link to the past in the modern world - the owners don't feel that they need to bring it up to date as its charm is in everything that some might see as flaws. It's a way to step back in time to a simpler time.
