This is just a jumble of several things that I needed to get said. I thought it would be an easy post to put together, but there are a lot of links. I’m mostly sending you to some of my favorite people, and I hope you like them, too.

My friend Robin at Around The Island passed me a “meme.” It’s called Linky-The Meme, and you really must go read the posts she lists in her archives. She’s a wonderful writer. This is a meme that I like, because we ALL have older posts that no one ever goes to read! It’s a way to “dust them off.”

The 7 “P” Meme

The WVb A blog about everything and nothing created this meme “in an attempt to know my fellow bloggers a little better.” Sandee, at Comedy Plus tagged me to answer it, then I’m supposed to tag 5 people to answer it. Now, if you haven’t been to Comedy Plus before, you have to go over and visit. Sandee is hilarious, and makes me giggle every day…sometimes she even posts more than once a day. She makes me laugh so hard I snort coffee through my nose and all over the computer.

As for this meme, I don’t know what these are supposed to tell y’all about me that you haven’t already figured out if you have visited me. If this is your first time to visit me, you don’t even care! Seems to me, that if you want to get to know your fellow bloggers, you take a few minutes and read their posts. But, I’ll play along, mostly because I love Sandee to pieces.

Passion: Yes. I have passion. About darn near everything. I love people (well most people, and you have to try really hard to make me not like you). I adore critters but I’m not a vegetarian; I delude myself into telling me that if it comes wrapped in cellophane it never was a critter. I know that’s callous. I could be a vegetarian if God hadn’t given us bacon. I also enjoy gardening, storytelling, and The Closer.
Purpose: What day is today? My purpose changes according to the calendar.
Pursuit: Right now, I’m pursuing “hookers.” Now, y’all know that’s not what I mean. I’m looking for people who crochet, so I can get 140 afghans put together. Oh, and I’m always pursuing bacon.
Position: Although my blog gets attention because of the Share A Square charity, my position is not “missionary.”
Pummeling: I am a basically non-violent person, so I doubt that I would hit, but I might give a “tongue lashing.” I can’t stand intolerance.
Progress: If I wake up in the morning and get to the coffee pot, it’s a day well spent. Especially if I can convince my husband to fry bacon for breakfast.
Personality: Twisted. I’m basically kind-hearted and I like to laugh. I’m a master at terrible puns. Just ask my husband. He used to be the master of puns, but now he’s in second place.
