I’m praying for your father in law.

The boat sinking story is great. I hated those orange life preservers, but I guess it’s better to swim back to shore with one of them than none at all.

My Dad had a 14ft green aluminum boat. All kinds of teen mayhem happened on it, but no sinkings.

Thanks for the prayers, JAM. I knew better than to NOT wear the life preserver (though it wasn’t a fashion statement), because Daddy would whup my rear if I didn’t. Yeah, those boats did inspire some mayhem. Lucky you that you didn’t sink it. ~skt

Oh, good thoughts, of course are with your father-in-law! I wish him a very speedy recovery!!

I hate having a “sinking feeling”, although I admit, the feeling is probably not as bad as actually sinking in a boat! My goodness! I’m not sure what “Old Billy Heck” is, but certainly doesn’t sound good

Shelly, So many of your readers feel as if they have become your friends. We can’t drop off a casserole, or offer to do some chores to free up your time, but we can be here cheering you on. Take whatever time is necessary and tend to family. We will handle the good thoughts department wishing you and your family well and be here whenever you need us.
