Oh, Sandi! I wish I had more time. This week I’m back in the real world working, and don’t have enough time to do ANYTHING! Thanks for telling me that you like them, though. Maybe I can post another tomorrow.~skt
Hi, Shelly. Your box arrived today - it was a tad crushed, but everything inside was fine.
I’ll get to work on them this week - hubby is having cataract surgery in Anchorage on Thursday and I will need busywork. So I will likely take some squares up to add the black to them while all that is going on.
take care
Whoot! I’m anxious to see finished product, Barbara! I can’t thank you enough for doing this. Send your husband my best wishes. Don’t overwork yourself! Hugs to you~skt

Hello Shelly. I was touched by your great project. I have started crochetting and I also posted in my blog introducing your project in Japanese(Yes! I come from Japan and live in the UK).
Thank you for this great project. Love
I had followed the domain listing in my statistics to see that! Thank you so much, Chimu, for posting about the project. I look forward to getting some squares, and I KNOW the children in Texas will be delighted when they see them! I appreciate your big heart. Hugs to you~skt
Shelly,
thanks for your kind thoughts for hubby. He came through the eye surgery just fine - is feeling his cheerios and ornery as ever. We are staying the night at our favorite b&b and will be back home tomorrow evening.
I’ve finished edging the squares for one afghan and am working on the second. I think I should have brought them all with me, though, as I may run out tonight.
BUT . . . I bought more yarn, so who knows.
Maybe more squares.
Better get downstairs and help hubby settle in. OH - all of the techs and nurses at the cataract center LOVE the squares I was working on - AND - a coworker of hubby’s is thinking of doing some squares so you may get some more from Alaska!

This is soooo cool to look at, Shelly! It warms my heart! I recognized one of my squares in your latest update! What a thrill! (Silly, I know). I know you posted somewhere that you’d sent me a couple of kits, but I’ll be darned if I can find it now. Do you happen to remember when you sent them? I haven’t received them, yet. Also sending off another “witch’s dozen” (along with a lil “prize-me” for my favorite big hearted blogger) on Monday. *muaaaah!*
Sent two kits last Saturday to you. I’m swamped, but if you don’t get it tomorrow, let me know and I’ll try to find time to track it before we head to SF. You’re a doll!~skt
!!! Roberta G !!! I’d love the pattern for those squares!
Mmmm… I know you’re busy hon, but nothing again today. If you don’t have time to trach it, no worries, I’m sure it’s just delayed my the holiday. Another witch’s dozen in tomorro’s mail, along with a lil prizeme for you! (No dishcloths for Mr. Shelly this time). Have a wonderful trip!
Hope that tracking number I sent you helps! Darned Post Office!~skt
