It’s a shame about San Fransisco. The city has such potential, but is run by people who’s beliefs and ideals are exremely extremely disturbing to your average American. They’ve ruined the city for me, and I now get disgusted just thinking about the craziness that is called Politics up there. 8-\

Sorry for the rant – I think I’m in a “mood” today.

Aww, Frigga. I hope your mood gets better. Course, I can see where some people might be disturbed by the attitudes in The City, and I respect that. For me, that craziness is part of the appeal. I’m an average American, but with a bend somewhat to the left. You might have already figured that out by now

Yep, girl, the food is good in San Francisco…and there are restaurants EVERYWHERE! Yummm! I look relaxed, by the way, because of LOADS of Ibuprofen! Yeah, I know you are going to tell me it’s not good for me, Susie. Go ahead. I know it’s what you do…so tell me an herbal remedy.

You make me want to go back! I haven’t been to SF since the mid 80′s — sure would like to visit again, especially after reading about your trip!

I’ve got more pics to post and stories to tell about this trip…but I don’t know if I will get my act together quickly! I KNOW the place has changed since the 80′s! You need to go and re-experience it and tell how different it is. Could that then be called a business trip? Travel expense account?

San Francisco does have a way of making me very aware of my thighs. Hills! Walking! I haven’t been there since 2002. Would love to go back.

Your thighs, baby, but MY knees! There is a lot of walking to do and many, many hills. You should go back. I’m told that there have been big changes (as in clean-up) in some of the districts. I’ll tell ya there is a Starbucks on every block!

Yep, you’ve got San Francisco down pretty well. I’ve spent a great deal of time there. Haven’t been for a while, but it’s a wonderful getaway. Very well done post on S.F. Have a great day Shelly.

Thanks, Sandee. I just love that city. However, I wish the streets weren’t uphill both ways . Hope your day is good, too
