The theme for this writing contest is “Scared Silly,” and I bet you can tell a tale. It doesn’t have to be funny; it can be a ghost story or a poignant story if you choose (and if you aren’t a blogger, you could still enter). The prize is $30 US via paypal. The deadline is Friday, March 28th. I know you have it in you, so tell us about it, won’t you?.
Click that logo or this link to the contest page for more details on entering.
I’m hoping this is a sticky post. I haven’t had luck with that in the past. Scroll down for new posts.
I appreciate y'all talking to me, Damien Riley, Wordpress best blogs, Liz, The Wandering Author, TeaMouse, Amiene R.ev, Project Wicked, Frigga, Queen-size funny bone, and Susiej!

I will post about this after the weekend rush… and I’m having trouble choosing exactly which one to enter… but I think I’ve got it.

An excellent choice you made! I’ve linked to it on the contest page.
The contest sounds like fun so I’m going to give it a try. Thanks for the invite.
Well, I hope you do enter! I look forward to the read. Thanks for stopping by.
Man $30 - I don’t think I saw that before. That’s a pretty nice prize. Too bad I don’t have any “scary stories.” Note to self: spend more time writing original content.
So, I wanted to let you know I posted the “stories” from last weeks Mad Libs style TT - come by and vote if you have time!!
Happy Monday!!!

Greeting…
I am a male, how could my dress blow by the wind? Haha.
I don’t think I could write a tale, but my surgery as minor as it was, turned into a horror tale for me. It should have been so simple, the first sign of problems was me feeling the scalpel…YOWCH, so more freezing via scary wicked needle, and it didn’t stop there, no this was a fun filled horror event with not one but three times of needing more freezing after being tortured able to feel what they were doing to me. Alas I am beginning to mend now, although I’m not up to my tip top shape yet, hopefully by next Monday I’ll be back to normal.
Thanks for the well wishes! Happy Easter!

Nice to see you with a sticky on the contest Shelly! This would make a nice little book of stories (with the light on that is!!!)
Anyway, I just wanted to remind everyone here in the final push that I am offerring a few incentives to those who play as well:
url that explains my part: http://rurl.org/m13
My interview with the winner (or favorable review of their blog) will act as a permanent backlink (helpful for placement in the search engine results) and get your blog noticed by my readers.
In case you are drawing a black as to who I am, I have the wonderful honor of judging the entries. Shelly will tell you I am very apt to promote blogs I like so… I’ll be reading your story then? It doesn’t have to be long. Thanks again Shelly for picking me to judge this one. Fun! Best regards everyone.
