I’m happy if I can do 7 posts a month. 54 words every day… all year! I know you can do it but just in case I’m sending up a prayer. Thats a lot to say, unless of course on the days you are word blocked you just start spouting off 54 random words. Now that I think of it that could be fun. Looking forward to watching this year unfold!

Yes, but Ingrid, your posts are long ones. Think about it: 54 words X 30 = 1620 words all month. You could handle that. Especially if you get on a rant! Girl, I ‘magine you could get 54 words out in a hurry. I’m gonna write to people who make me angry, too. The hard part there will be censoring myself

You are a blessing to many, you know that!? I had not seen this project either – and I am going to do it, though I now get 58 words and you know how wordy I am, so I am glad you didn’t post this last week, grin. I better start making a list for those darker days I can’t think of anyone. This is my “favoritist project”…. Thank you for being sure we all saw it. (PS I just told Leon I thought he should make a list, too, even if he didn’t write exact word count since he is so busy, but I said, “a list of all the people who have touched your wife…” OOPS…)

I agree with Freelance Guru–that’s why I’m so bad at writing poetry, when you distill those words down to just the essence of language you’ve got to have each word perfect. Give me more words and more of a margin of error

I don’t think there are hard and fast rules. Some folks are writing poetry, others seem to be writing a book! I think even just jotting notes about people who were special will help inspire creative memories. Good luck with your Write Away Contest. I'm sure I could think of that many people. This is something I would love doing if I weren't struggling so just now. But I've been blogging a bit, and today I've come to read a bit. I need you to know Shelly, that your call helped jumpstart the process. Thank you, my friend. That’s actually a really big challenge. When you write less every word has to be perfect. I keep each freelanceguru post below 300 words and it takes me ages just to get that right. Good luck.

I hadn’t heard of the x365, but wow! What a cool idea! It also seems like it would be harder than it first appears…I really like the idea and the memories that would come out of it. I think I might like to give it a try…..

I think it will be really hard in six months. I’m trying to write for some of the more difficult ones first. I put it on a different blog so it would all be together, and so it wouldn’t scare people away from this one.
