I haven't seen Adobe Photoshop Express, but I'm really good with Adobe Photoshop so I'm pretty sure I can help you if you have any questions...

Looks like a fun trip!

Oh, I am so very happy that you were able to attend the Grand Kids Festival! The Grand 1894 Opera House is such an amazing theater and the productions and performances are first rate. From what I understand, there were more than 3000 (purchased tickets) in attendance.

I saw you earlier blog entry in which you stated you stayed at The Tremont, a beautiful hotel indeed. Upon your return, you may want to consider one of the beautiful bed & breakfasts located in the historic district. Also, The Galvez and The Harbor House get high scores from our out of town visitors.

Very glad you found Mod Coffee Shop! They are nice and make yummy coffee. The gentleman you captured in your drumming picture (with the dreads) is an AMAZING local businessman who also owns coffee shop called Y'a Bon Village Coffeehouse. Stop bye and say hello to Curt when you are in town again (info on his shop: http://www.galveston.com/yabonvillage).

Thank you for choosing Galveston Island as a destination point for your trip. We welcome your return!

Very best to you-

GalvestonKidz.com's last blog post..Congratulations to The Grand Kids Festival Banner Contest!

Actually, Erin, I've been coming to Galveston for 12 years to tell stories at that Kid's Festival. I've stayed at The Galvez and at Harbor House...but I stay where The Grand puts me. You do have a delightful town, even if my California bred husband isn't fond of it. Thanks for stopping by.

Sounds like you had a good trip! For some reason I couldn't see the photos...not sure why.

Stop by if you get a chance I posted a few photos of bluebonnets I photographed in Stephenville.

It was a good trip, indeed! Didn't start out that way. There were bluebonnets EVERYWHERE, but I didn't pull off the highway very often. Those big trucks are scary!
