Some of y’all may have noticed that I am trying to raise money for Camp Sanguinity (a summer camp for children with cancer). My friend Jessica the Rock Chick at Life is RANTastic is having a raffle to help get the donations rolling. You could win a super cool Ipod Shuffle just by helping children with cancer. That gal can always be counted upon to help stir it up.

She’s calling it a “Shuffle Off.” Jessica’s friend, Crystal, is offering a $10 gift certificate from her online store Two Belles & A Bead. She’s a supremely talented jewelry designer. Check it out!

So, I thought I’d give you an update. Ya wanna know what we have done so far?

So far, we have raised $670.95 for Camp Sanguinity!!

Actually, we raised $681.11, but PayPal takes $10.16 from that. It’s not the $21,000 I had hoped to raise…but it’s no kick in the pants, either.

Here’s the thing: Jessica’s raffle ends on MAY 16TH. Shortly after that, I plan to pass the money on to the camp. I had originally intended to beg and plead until time for camp, but I’m trying to get my life in better balance. As I “re-arrange my plate,” this fund drive is one of the things I have to put back on the platter.
