WINNERS in the Celtic Thunder Drawing

Have y’all been hearing me cuss a blue streak?

I’ve been very indelicate in my manner of speech today. I went on a simple errand, and I got lost three times in Fort Worth, so I didn’t get back as quickly as I thought I would. THEN, my blasted server went wonky and I couldn’t pull up this site to post! I apologize for not posting earlier, because I know that some of you are waiting to hear.

I have drawn the four winners of the Celtic Thunder contest! What a treat it has been to be able to offer you the opportunity to hear these delightful young men (and maybe even get to see them in kilts)!

I want to thank AEG Live for allowing me to give them to you. If you didn’t win tickets, you can still go hear this fabulous group. The tour dates are listed here.

I also have to thank two good blogging friends: Michelle at Bleeding Espresso and Kacey at Wine on the Keyboard. Although neither of them could enter the contest (Michelle is in Italy, and Kacey had other commitments), both of them helped me out by advertising the contest! Talk about having friends when you need them!

Now, y’all, I was as fair and impartial as I could possibly be in choosing the winners of this contest. Although some of you have been visiting with me since I began this blog, and some of you came in to the contest and probably won’t visit again, I was determined that everyone would have a fair chance!

I printed everyone’s name (the number of times that they had an entry). Then, I used my paper cutter to cut those into tiny strips and I wadded them up. That paper cutter is serious business, and my hands have arthritis, so I had to be very careful! I could have gotten a paper cutter cut!

I put all the entries into a big bowl, and I got some friends of mine to stir the pot a few times. They argued over who got to stir, and it was a true cat fight before it was done. I hope y’all appreciate the effort that took on my part to keep them separated.

I wanted to get my “uninterested party” to draw the winning entries, but he didn’t get to come home for lunch.

So, I drew the names myself.

Thank you all for entering and helping spread the word about Celtic Thunder! You winners need to make sure I know your real names, because I don’t think you can get tickets with an alias due to Homeland Security measures (or something like that).
