USAGE The traditional standard past form of sneak is sneaked (: she sneaked around the corner). An alternative past form, snuck (she snuck past me), arose in the U.S. in the 19th century. Until very recently, snuck was confined to U.S. dialect use and was regarded as nonstandard, but in the last few decades its use has spread, particularly in the U.S., where it is now generally regarded as a standard alternative to sneaked. In formal contexts, however, sneaked remains the preferred form.

Well, I don’t have a recipe for brownies with that special secret ingredient but I see from the comments that someone else apparently does, so that matter is settled. I do however, have my Only the Good post done for today! YAY, YAY! I even had it done by 3 a.m. this morning! Sometimes, I really do amaze myself.

Here is a great idea for “only the good” that I just came across and some of your readers with locations to do this might want to copy.

One of the local restaurants in Holland, MI started a tradition many years ago where they let customers write their names on dollar bills and put them on the walls and other places in the restaurant. When 9-11 happened, they took down all the money and donated it to the Red Cross. Ever since they have been donating to organizations and individuals whenever a need became apparent. Recently, one of the waitresses at the restaurant died from cancer. She was only 44 and the money will be donated to Hospice House of Holland.

A dollar with your name on it that gathers other dollars on a wall of push pins is such a little thing that can grow to do so much good.

I love it. Wonder if it could be done around here…I don’t mean on the blog. At a coffeehouse or something.

My smiles these days tend to be produced by two little kittens: Mister and Sister. It is absolutely impossible to be depressed with a kitten on your head.

I love those personal touches at a business, especially a coffee shop. Maybe he takes a photo every day of what he has drawn, if not he could — it would make a nice memory.

I posted on play, since I got a 99 cent toy yesterday (and a couple of free ones). I’ve been playing this morning, good, now have to work, also, good (as you know!)
