Shelly, I'm so happy that you posted that recipe! That sounds soooo GOOD!! I'm making that tomorrow afternoon for late lunch early dinner with (as carol suggests) grilled cheese sandwiches! (try making them with sharp cheddar and anaheim chiles. The big green mild ones? Oh, yummy!!) I got my good on over at my place. MMMM good! Love tomato soup and your addition of the bacon (should come as no surprise) really does add quite a touch I would think. I also would like the mushrooms in it too. Our taste buds must operate on the same wave length.

I went snowshoeing today for the first time this winter & it was snowing gently the whole 3 miles. Now what’s not GOOD about that on a Friday???!

I’ll take your word for it, Ann, but don’t take me snowshoeing. You don’t want to learn any new euphemisms.

Mmm, thanks for the nod. Now if you had not said leave the salt out, it would have been a good time to try that Bacon Salt, that I haven't bought yet. I've found I really like Swanson's Organic Vegetable Broth - has less salt, so maybe... Marcias last blog post..Toys for Tots - Only the Good, Friday Give it a shot.
