There have been 4 deaths just in the last month in Toronto plus 5 near misses from carbon monoxide poisoning, not cool. We have 3 detectors in our house, it's the law here. What a scary thing to find in the attic! But I can see how you could turn that around into something good -you found it and thankfully, nothing bad happened to any of you as a result of the problem. I gave my son a Sedaris book ("Holiday on Ice) and wanted one for myself but didn't get one. However, I did get five books in all and one I didn't expect -reading it already -"Me of Little Faith" by Lewis Black. It's hysterical!
