If You Have A Y Chromosome, This Is Probably Not A Post For You

Have y’all ever been out to eat with a group of people, and find that suddenly all the women get up and go to the bathroom together? A man would never turn to his buddy and say, “Hey, Bob, I’m going to the Men’s Room, you want to join me?” But, women do that kind of thing. We learn when we are very young that females do things in gaggles — like geese.

Women bloggers are the same way. I recently found a delightful group of women bloggers and I fell on the ground begging and groveling to get to join. Then, I found out that all I had to do was ask. Duh.

Sorry guys, this isn’t a group you can join. It’s just for women who blog.

If you haven’t encountered them, this is a loosely joined group of women (not a group of “loose women”) who are held together by the ringleader, Frances. There aren’t many rules, and there is a Yahoo group for chatting. No Rules? Well, that sounds great to me.

I haven’t yet gotten the opportunity to visit many of the folks on the blogroll, because real life work has just been getting in my way. Hopefully I’ll get a chance this next week, while I sit in a hotel at night in Beaumont, Texas. But, maybe some of y’all would want to check out some blogs that may be new to you. I also want to give a bit of link love to my blogging sisters.

So here’s the blogroll. If you pay them a visit, tell them Shelly says, “Hey.”
