It’s just that kind of day … the kind when I throw my hands in the air and pray.

This is Monochrome Monday at Aileni’s blog. Visit some other photographers (ones who can actually shoot photographs!) who are smitten with black and white photos.

If you want to show off your photographs in an album, don’t forget to visit BlogHer for the Snapfish Giveaway and/or my review called Hooked on Snapfish. A simple comment at either site enters you in a random drawing for a $50 gift card from Snapfish. The giveaway ends on June 15th!

Now, I’m frantically working on The Good Medicine Project, processing the gifts for children with cancer … and I think we reached the goal of 140 medicine bags! I hope to have an update for you tomorrow, so come again!

Thank you, Jamie. Those hands are right there in my bathroom! I look at them every day and throw up my hands.

That’s fun – and it is good B&W.

What an interesting picture. I love what you said about throwing up your hands and praying. It matches the picture perfectly.

I love it! I was wondering if that was in your house, but I already see the answer in the comments. I could totally picture that in your home after seeing your mannequin pic. Nice shot, Shelly! I love black and white pics!

Aren’t b&w pics fun to take? I’ve discovered that using my little photo program has rescued a lot of pictures that looked pretty bad the first time out.

Beautiful picture. And yes, many of us I believe have those kind of days. I am looking forward to your update on the Good Medicine Project.

Wishing you a scent-sational day!

I mailed off two more bags today. (Well, they might not actually leave the Post Office until tomorrow, as things work down here in the sticks). If you’ve reached your goal before you get them, you can hold them in reserve or use them as a back up for someone that breaks/loses/hates the one that get! :)

Lovely picture.

I love that – it has such a sense of freedom about it. Great shot Shelly.

Is it freedom, or just exasperation? I dunno.
