The most delightful medicine bags have been finding their way to my mailbox! If you don’t know about The Good Medicine Project, people from around the world have been creating gifts for children with cancer (and their siblings) who will attend Camp Sanguinity this summer. They are going to be thrilled with the gifts they receive. Each of 140 children will get a handmade “medicine bag” filled with three good luck charms.

For those of you who have made medicine bags, but have not sent them — please get them to me by Saturday June 20th so that I have time to process them. Extra medicine bags will be used for the children who are too sick to attend camp. Although we have reached the goal, some people sent twenty bags. I’ll include medicine bags from as many different people as I can.

I put a star to this bag for the children to wish upon it.”~ Tomomi Yamada

I had hoped to have all the pictures taken of the bags I have received, so that I could show them to you today, however my life keeps getting in the way! I’ll show more medicine bags later this week.
Thank you ALL for sharing a piece of your heart! Now, where is my camera?
