This albino peacock definitely had an attitude!

Strutting His Stuff

Strutting His Stuff

I thought he had every good reason to fan his feathers and dance. I would dance, too, if I were as beautiful and if I could dance.

I thought that since he was white, he would be a likely entry in the Monochrome Weekly Theme where bloggers post photographs in black and white. If you haven’t ever visited the folks who post there, you are missing a spectacle!

Aileni features a few of the photographs from the previous week each time she posts. Thank you, Aileni, for featuring the fan I posted last week. I am honored that you chose it.

In color, this peacock actually had a pink tinge. He was in the Bahamas hanging out with flamingos (who maintain their pink color, I was told, by eating a diet of shrimp). Perhaps the peacock dined on shrimp cocktail? I’ll tell you a tale about this peacock (would that be a “cock tale?”) another day, for I have a performance for school children today.

Y’all have a delightful day.
