Share A Square Afghan Gallery

From June 14th, 2007 until July 2008, bloggers and non-bloggers alike showed their hearts. They knitted and crocheted six inch squares for Share A Square. This ambitious project was undertaken in order to make 140 afghans for children at Camp Sanguinity Summer Camp in July of 2008. Each afghan contains squares from 48 different people.

Here are part of the afghans that have been made
by these big hearted people. We actually made many more (over 10,000 squares were donated).
For some reason, you have to click on the white space beside the videos to show the “controls.” Click on the dark box on the bottom left to show full screen, then hit the “escape” button on your computer to reduce it to its original size

Want to see some of the squares?

Thanks to everyone who had such big hearts. The children loved them and will treasure them for a lifetime.
