Oh Wait! I gotta tell you this!
Ok, I probably didn’t have to tell you these things. “Why are those notes on the sidebar?” you ask. Well…um…it’s my own miniature Twitter. It’s a miniblog. It’s just stuff I thought might interest you on any given day. It’s because I can write them on there, and so I did [if you landed on this page first, the sidebar is on the main This Eclectic Life page].
Mainly, it’s because if I put my Twitter updates here, when Twitter is overcapacity the blog loads more slowly. So, I’m just adding my favorite information.
What are you going to see there? Whatever pops into my head. When I see blogging friends with good ideas, it will go there. If I run across a quote I like I can share it. As I hop around the internet, I’ll find things that are news to me.
What won’t you see there? Advertisement! That’s not why I’ve got it posted. That’s not to say I won’t post about cool products I see on the internet, but don’t ask me to advertise yours.
How often will it change? Ummm…let’s just wait and see. Probably daily or weekly until I get bored with it.
Do you have something you want me to post? Have a worthy project? Have a cool new meme? Just desperate for a day of link love? As I said, as long as it isn’t advertising, you can contact me and tell me about it. I don’t promise anything, but I’ll consider any reasonable request.
Below is a running list of the “Oh Wait!” posts I’ve done so far:
