SAS’S Blogroll “Share A Square’S”

There is a dream becoming a reality because of the power of the internet AND the big hearts of the people who surf through it. I’m thanking you in advance for your participation. I know you will want to be a part of it. Here’s the dream:

An afghan for each child at the Camp Sanguinity Cancer Camp associated with Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas (next summer).

That would be 140 afghans made of 40 granny squares (each square 6″x6″ without the black border). Each square would be made by a different person; each afghan from squares sent from different parts of the globe. Each square would have a small card attached with the logo, or name, AND location of the person who made it (you can add best wishes as well). When a child gets an afghan, the child will know that at least 40 different people around the world care enough to share their time and their heart.

The first afghan will be put together at The Colony Public Library on July 19th. Send a square to be included on that afghan (the first 39 people will be included on that one). To
