I told y’all about Isabelle, who dropped in to help during the so called Share A Square Day. That sweetheart has been putting the black rims around squares during her spare time. I go down to Alter Ego, where she works, and pick up 10 squares that are ready to drop into an afghan. She is saving me tons of work, and I wish I could find 10 more people in the area to do just what she is doing! I’d be able to put together afghans at a rate of two per week.
This morning at the Denton Senior Center, the women brought me 143 squares they had made during the week! They are also working to put together one of the afghans for me.
More has been coming in the mail. Sherry, at Yellow Rose’s Garden in Georgia sent these:
Renate in Eddy, TX mailed these to me:
Nora in New York City, NY sent these:
These are from Barbara in Alaska:
And, this huge pile came from Camille S., in IL. She had friends make some of them, too:
Today, Connie K., from Gladewater, TX is going to drop by my house on her way home from Fort Worth and take away the squares to put together four afghans!! I wish I could find some more angels like that!
