Sunday December 9th Update

by Shelly on December 9, 2007

Yes, I’m still snapping pictures and I’m not finished with that stack I showed you. I also have to upload the picture of one of the lovely afghans that Thorne put together (thank you, Thorne!! I love the trim on it.).

I’ve spent most of today trying to figure out just exactly where we stand with Share A Square.

I have a total of 64 afghans stitched together and here at the house. You can see 57 of them on the Afghan Gallery.

There are quite a few afghans in progress:

Thorne has one, Donna G. has one, Tracey has two, Linda has one, Renice has two, Vixen has one, Camille has two, Tina has one, Stephanie has one, Connie has eight, Rebecca has four, Cindy has one, Carol has one and the Denton Senior Center has two. That’s 28, and I hope I didn’t miss any on my list (s).

I have 21 kits packaged, but don’t have enough stacks to make any more. We need 30 27, (I can’t add) more afghan kits. Now, I do have some stacks that are huge, but some of the stacks only have four or five squares in them. So, we are still working for the time being. I sure do wish I could get the kits all packaged before the end of the year. We will see what happens.

Y’all are awesome volunteers! Thank you for the hard work you do!

More pictures tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.
