What’s rolling around in my purse? Twist & Pout Lip Balm

“If Oprah would just recommend EVERYTHING, she could fix the economy with one hand tied behind her back!” Lip glosses---oooh, pretty

Those were the words my husband spoke, as I eyed this colorful jar. That’s not marbles in the jar — it’s lip balm from the Ballmania Garden Party Twist & Pout Lip Balm Collection. Whats rolling around in my purse? Twist & Pout Lip Balm

And, yes — I fell for them, even though I figured it was just one more thing to roll around in the bottom of my brand new purse from Handbag Heaven.

Now, people, I don’t listen to every word that Oprah Winfrey says (and I only know she recommended these because the sign said so). I’m not a slave to fashion, and I do not wear very much makeup — never have. But, I don’t like to leave the house without a swipe of mascara, a hint of blush, and a dab of lip gloss.

I only wanted this particular lip gloss because the container was cute, and a girl needs her lip gloss, and it was my birthday. So, my husband bought one for me. He’s a nice husband, and minds me very well.

I was surprised that I liked the vanilla cream flavor, although I admit that it makes me hungry to taste it (which is probably not good for my diet). I was delighted to discover that it isn’t a nuisance in the bottom of my purse — in fact, I can find it much more quickly than regular lipstick, because it just seems to nestle into the corner.

The best thing about it is the SPF 20 sunscreen in it. I live in Texas, and spend a lot of time outdoors in the summer. Have you ever had sunburned lips? I have, and let me tell you that you don’t want them!

Now, if any of you go and buy these, don’t throw away the cute little container! Send them to me so I can put them in a glass jar to display on my bookshelves. I need them, because everybody knows I’ve lost my marbles.

I’ll give this lip balm four boots!
